Plans, records and makes adaptions to annual leave and sickness.
Ensure services are appropriately covered during periods of leave through efficient use of resource and effective planning.
Works as part of a flexible team and organise own time on a daily basis on work allocated by the Line Manager and supporting other members of the team as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the service.
Following initial guidelines can act independently and be accountable for own actions, able to use own imitative and be accountable for own decision making.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Management/Leadership qualification to degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience of administrative duties in an NHS environment
Desirable criteria
2. Expertise acquired through training and relevant experience in implementing administrative and organisational policies and procedures.
Experience

3. Significant administration and clerical experience
4. Demonstrable experience in rota development and administration to a high level
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic work environment
6. Experience in an administration/HR function such as bookings, rotas, leave planning or waiting list management
Desirable criteria
7. Demonstrable NHS experience
8. Experience of delivering and leading change to meet service needs
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria
9. Demonstrates competence in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation packages.
10. Advanced keyboard skills and computer literacy.
11. Able to collate and analyse data
12. Ability to utilise electronic data tools
13. Management of timetables/rotas
14. Understanding of technical detail relating to rota building
