As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and expertise in psychology to support children with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with experienced educators to create inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.
The children in this school have struggles with many learning difficulties. These are often Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Dyslexia, Speech Impediments and Asperger's.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN
2. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally.
3. Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour.
4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised learning strategies.
5. Implement effective interventions and support plans tailored to meet individual needs.
