Martin House provides free specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with complex and life-shortening conditions. Families from across West, North and East Yorkshire have access to our care 24/7, 365 days a year, including specialist doctors. Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families' own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.
We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic person to run our fabulous shop on Skipton High Street on Sundays. You will have experience of working with a diverse range of people and be excited about generating funds for your local children's hospice. You will be supportive of your shop manager and help to lead the team with positivity and enthusiasm.

* Want to work in a well-established, award-winning charity retail team, raising funds to support our children, young people, and their families from the time of their referral through to end-of-life care.
* Understand the importance of creating a community hub within our charity shops, and be able to provide a safe, inclusive environment from which to generate revenue for our hospice.
* Be flexible with their time, as opportunities to cover Annual Leave and other absences will be available over the business year.
