If you’ve led small teams or want to step into leadership, know your way around CAPA, complaints, and change control and have the emotional intelligence to thrive in a high energy environment, this could be a defining step in your QA journey.
I am working with a Medical manufacturing business hiring their next Quality Lead.
You will be the person between the shop floor and the existing Quality Manager, taking ownership of 2 QE’s whilst remaining hands on in improving the quality system.
Here’s what you’ll own:
* Daily leadership of the QE and QA teams. Be a person of influence across QA, navigating the tough task of being a people manager, whilst also remaining hands on in quality tasks.
* A visible presence in product development cycles, ensuring design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
* Ownership of complaint handling, They’ve just stabilised the process and now want to keep it watertight. You’ll assign, investigate, and close complaints using a solid risk framework.
* There’s a bit of a backlog with CAPAs and you won’t own them all, but you will help drive momentum in closing them.
* Document control and change management, from writing quality plans to reviewing protocols and serving as SME in change control boards.
* Internal & external audits.
* Participate in risk evaluations, using tools such as Process/Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA /DFMEA)
What success looks like in the first 6 months
* Your integrate well with the existing and wider teams.
* Long standing CAPAs are moving forward with structure.
* Your presence is felt in a good way across R&D and Ops.
