Duties
* Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across all departments.
* Develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
* Organise and deliver safety training sessions for staff members to promote awareness and best practices.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses thoroughly, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
* Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions required or taken.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations by conducting audits and inspections.
* Coordinate emergency response procedures, including first aid arrangements and evacuation plans.
* Liaise with external regulatory bodies during inspections or investigations as required.
Skills
* Proven experience in health and safety management or related roles.
* First aid certification is essential; additional qualifications in emergency response are advantageous.
* Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
* Expertise in root cause analysis to identify underlying issues contributing to safety incidents.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills to engage with staff at all levels and deliver training confidently.

Pay: £28,200.09-£53,545.50 per year
