About The Role
Atlas Workplace Services has an opportunity for an experienced and reliable commercial/office cleaner to join our team in Glasgow.
* Part time - 12.5 hours per week
* Working week - Monday - Thursday 6pm-8:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 5pm-7.30pm
* Rate - £12.60 per hour
Effective delivery of site-based cleaning operations to the standards expected by Atlas and our client, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the Site Cleaning Manual.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Dusting/cleaning all office surfaces
* Cleaning all reception areas and meeting rooms
* Cleaning the office kitchen area
* Cleaning microwaves and refrigerators
* Vacuuming all carpeted areas
* Mopping all hard floor surfaces
* Washing crockery and utensils, including filling and emptying the dishwasher
* Spot cleaning stains on carpets
* Keeping the cleaning cupboard clean and tidy
Additional responsibilities include handling substances per QSHE guidelines and COSHH policy, monitoring stock levels, reporting defects, conducting work safely, observing safety regulations, managing time effectively, and maintaining professional standards.
Client and Customer Relationships
* Working in the best interests of the client and customers, building trust and honesty.
* Promoting a professional, courteous, and positive image.
Freedom to Act
* Operate within operational guidelines and corporate governance.
* Escalate serious H&S issues to Atlas board and liaise with the Head of Health & Safety.
About You
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required
* No formal qualifications required; training opportunities available.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar role.
* Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets.
