Role Overview:
As a Primary TA, you'll be working closely with class teachers to provide individualised support to pupils and ensure a positive learning environment. Your contribution will play a key role in enhancing the educational experience of young learners.
Responsibilities as Primary TA:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who may need extra help.
* Encourage active participation and promote confidence in pupils.
* Support classroom management and uphold positive behaviour.
* Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure pupil progress and well-being.
Requirements for Primary TA:
* Previous experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
* A genuine passion for working with children in a primary school setting.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
