Responsibilities
In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort working with all disciplines, with a critical impact on getting high performance products to millions of customers quickly. You will be working with architecture, design and software partners on the definition and tuning of Apple’s future GPU Core Architecture. The role involves innovating to create solutions to tomorrow’s problems, working on the GPU processor and memory hierarchy. You’ll collaborate with experienced GPU architects, uArchitects & software teams to assess the feasibility of new ideas, driving these through to product. We rely on strong analytical skills and close collaboration to deliver the best overall solution to our customers.
Minimum Qualifications
* BS degree
* Experience in GPU/CPU architecture and micro‑architecture design
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working as part of large cross‑functional teams
* Software skills and proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
* Experience with creating adaptive or machine learning based algorithms
* Interpersonal skills and creativity to help the team solve design challenges
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or relevant experience
* Ability to travel internationally 3-5 times a year
* Proven ability to work with complex designs from architecture to production
