The Glass of Bandol is looking for a Fondue Chef/kitchen porter who is looking to assist our current kitchen. We're looking for somebody that can come in and showcase your skills/talent to present food of highest quality and support all staff.
The successful candidates will be working under the supervision of the supervisor ensuring the services operate well and you will ensure that food safety regulations are adhered to.
The role may require you to work with our existing menu to prepare cheese dishes, ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy at all times.
A basic Food Hygiene Certificate/Allergens or evidence of Food Hygiene/allergens awareness is essential for this role, along with knowledge of maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and hygienic environment.
Genral duties required to work in our kitchen include:
* Using a knife to perform standards food preparation tasks
* Ability to identify the correct boards for relative tasks
* Understanding temperature control and the critical ones
* Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
* Make sure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
* Assisting with waste removal and washing up
Requirements:
* Food Safety knowledge
* Follow safe working practices
* Attend on-site training and induction
