Virtual Learning UK (VLUK) is seeking a passionate and industry-experienced Creative Media Tutor to join our growing team at our Creative Industry Campus in Stevenage starting in September 2026.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver a dynamic, hands-on post-16 education programme, supporting learners aged 16–19 in developing industry-relevant creative skills through practical, project-based learning.
You will deliver a Level 3 Creative Media qualification (equivalent to 3 A-Levels), helping students build professional portfolios and prepare for progression into higher education, apprenticeships, or careers in the creative industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across creative media disciplines (e.g. video production, photography, digital design, content creation)
* Support learners in responding to real-world style briefs and projects
* Develop students’ technical skills, creativity, and professional behaviours
* Provide clear feedback and track student progress against assessment criteria
* Support learners in building a high-quality creative portfolio
* Maintain accurate records in line with VLUK policies
* Contribute to a positive, professional, and industry-focused learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in creative media production (e.g. video, photography, design, digital content)
* Passion for education and supporting young people (16–19)
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to deliver engaging, practical learning experiences
* Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
* Industry experience or freelance background in the creative industry
* Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
