Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from
around the world
Ideal candidates will have:
* A degree from a Top 30 U.S. university (strongly preferred)
* Exceptional undergraduate candidates may also be considered
* Applicants from AUSNZ or LATAM regions: U.S. educational background not required, but project management experience is essential
* Strong backgrounds in Software & Technology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or related fields are especially valued
* Passion for mentorship, leadership development, and education innovation
The Role: Capstone Mentor
As a Capstone Mentor, you'll guide students through their
personalized leadership project journey
, helping them develop ideas, execute strategic plans, and reach tier-specific outcomes. These projects are central to students' college applications and personal development.
Core Responsibilities
* Mentor students through regular meetings and structured checkpoints
* Support proposal development, tier milestone tracking, and final submission
* Assist students in managing expert consultations and building impactful community-focused projects
* Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring students stay on track
* Collaborate with internal teams (Strategists & Admins) to ensure a seamless mentorship experience
Time Commitment & Flexibility
* Around 5 hours per week (or more)
* Flexible scheduling — you choose which students to work with
* Mentors must commit to supporting students through project completion
Compensation
Compensation is based on your
professional background, expertise, and educational experience
. You will be paid for
live session time
, which includes:
* 1 hour session
* ~15 minutes preparation
* ~10 minutes session summary
* ~10-15 minutes follow-up/research
