Payroll & HR Assistant - Antrim MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Payroll & HR Assistant for a well-established business in Antrim. This permanent role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across both payroll and HR within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment. The Role As Payroll & HR Assistant, you'll be responsible for: Acting as a first point of contact for payroll queries and providing timely resolutions Preparing and submitting Real Time Information (RTI) returns to HMRC Generating payslips and ensuring all documentation is distributed correctly Accurately processing payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, pensions, and statutory payments Maintaining and updating the Time & Attendance system to ensure accurate records Supporting HR with employee lifecycle administration - from onboarding new hires to processing leavers and contractual changes Assisting the wider HR team with projects and providing general administrative support The Person We're looking for someone who ideally has: Practical experience in payroll, ideally with exposure to HR administration Familiarity with PAYE, NIC and HMRC processes and reporting requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel plus experience using payroll software such as Sage (or equivalent) Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee data Knowledge of Time & Attendance systems (desirable) The Package This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected and growing business.
