Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading manufacturer who are recruiting a Key Sales Account Manager to join their expanding team, based near Nottingham.
The successful candidate will possess experience within the FMCG sector, ideally within beauty, fashion or related, with a proactive nature and the ability to build relationships with key partner brands to create new business opportunities, alongside proactively winning new customers.
There is a remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £50k DOE, 10% bonus, hybrid/flexible working options alongside an array of further benefits.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact for key customer accounts, fostering strategic relationships and ensuring business alignment
* Develop and execute account plans to achieve growth targets, including identifying upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities
* Lead pricing discussions, manage sales budgets and regularly review account performance and profitability
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, R&D, procurement and production) to deliver successful project outcomes
* Own the end-to-end business development process, from evaluating customer briefs to leading tender submissions and post-response follow-up
* Proactively promote company capabilities through presentations, site visits and trade events, while driving customer-centric culture across internal teams
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a similar role within FMCG
* Experience within the beauty, fashion or food sector advantageous
* Ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts
* Proactive mindset with a desire to win new business
* Communication skills
