Job Title: Care Assistant – Arbrook House Care Home
Location: 36 Copsem Lane, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9HE
Hourly Rate: £13.10 per hour (Bank Contract)
About the Role
As a Care Assistant at Arbrook House, you will provide person‑centred care to residents, supporting their independence and choices.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with a wide range of needs, from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour, documenting and reporting any changes as required by legislation.
* Assist residents with their nutrition and hydration, encouraging and helping them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
Qualifications
* Motivation, positivity and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: previous experience in a care home or a Health and Social Care qualification.
