The Safety Lead will oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management across two project sites. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
 * Develop, implement, and maintain safety management systems and policies.
 * Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
 * Provide leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
 * Deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
 * Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
 * Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and recommend improvements.
 * Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all required documentation is up to date.
Qualifications and Experience
 * NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent safety qualification.
 * Proven experience in a safety leadership role, ideally within construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
 * Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practices.
 * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
