Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children, including those with special educational needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to suit each student's learning style.
* Develop personalised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the specific needs of each student.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters confidence and motivation.
* Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other educators and specialists, particularly when working with students requiring special education support.
* Stay updated on best practices in education and tutoring techniques to continuously improve instructional methods.
Experience
* Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly desirable, particularly in subjects relevant to the students being supported.
* Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage, enabling effective support for diverse learners.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and communicate clearly with children of varying ages and backgrounds.
* A genuine passion for helping students succeed academically and personally, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
