An established engineering company is hiring an Electronic Design Engineer (Hardware / PCB) with strong PCB design and layout experience to join their Nottingham-based team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys end-to-end hardware development, from schematic capture through to PCB layout, test, and production.
Key Skills (Hardware Engineer / PCB Design / Electronics):
* Strong PCB design & layout experience (Altium Designer preferred)
* Proven experience in electronic hardware design (analog, digital, mixed-signal)
* Experience with Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
* Ability to take products from concept → prototype → production
* Hands-on testing, validation, and debugging of electronic hardware
Nice to have:
* Experience with embedded / IoT-style systems
* Exposure to multi-layer PCB design
You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team delivering high-quality hardware solutions, with involvement across the full product lifecycle.
