Salary / OTE: £28,00035,000 - 40-45k OTE

Valoris Group is recruiting on behalf of a national fire safety provider that is looking to strengthen its Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance team across the Birmingham to Oxfordshire region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who wants to build a long-term career within fire safety, compliance, and life safety systems. The role would suit someone who already has experience with fire alarms and emergency lighting, or an electrician looking to move into a more specialised and stable area of the industry.
This is not a basic entry-level position. The client is looking for someone technically capable, reliable, professional, and keen to develop into a specialist Fire Alarm Engineer.
You will be joining an established national business delivering essential service, maintenance, testing, and compliance work across commercial sites. The role will involve travel, including working away Monday to Friday when required, with accommodation arranged and overnight allowances provided.
The Role
As a Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, testing, and fault-finding across fire alarm systems and emergency lighting installations.
You will work across a range of commercial environments, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, fully operational, and maintained in line with current regulations and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and either existing experience within fire alarm systems or a genuine interest in developing within the fire safety sector.
You will need to be reliable, well organised, comfortable working on client sites, and willing to travel as part of the role.
