Job Description
We’re recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor on a 12 months FTC to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. The role involves helping foster positive, constructive relationships between our people and the organisation. Responsibilities
* Providing clear, practical employee relations advice aligned to people policies and procedures
* Managing and updating accurate employee records within HR systems
* Handling a range of ER queries and escalating complex matters appropriately
* Analysing case information to identify themes, risks and improvement opportunities
* Organising and prioritising workload to meet service level agreements
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the ER team
* Coaching and guiding managers on core HR processes and best practice
* Building positive working relationships with stakeholders, HR colleagues and union partners
Qualifications
* Experience handling high-volume HR or employee relations queries across multiple channels
* A sound understanding of employment legislation and HR policies and procedures
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain processes, risk and options clearly
* Good judgement and analytical skills when assessing ER case information
* Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
* Confidence building trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders
* A customer-focused approach with a commitment to fair and consistent outcomes
* CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
