About the role
We are seeking a food and beverage professional with a passion for wines and great service to join us as Food & Beverage Manager. This senior role will oversee quality and service standards across all F&B operations and lead our Bar & Grill team.
Responsibilities
* Custodian of the F&B operation, running and overseeing services across F&B, ensuring the highest levels of service, coaching the team, and hands‑on host service.
* Collaborate with senior management and Head Chef, and with Reception to increase resident‑to‑diner ratios and provide guests with a full brand experience.
* Run the commercial side of the operation – manage payroll, rota development, approve bookings diary, sequence of service, drive a culture of sales through service.
* Maintain supplier contracts, complete accurate stock takes and orders.
* Develop your team’s knowledge and enthuse the entire team with passion for food and beverage.
* Collaborate with HR to support the journey of all F&B team members – interviewing, training, appraisals, one‑to‑one meetings, and training plans.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years as a Restaurant Manager or above in a full‑service restaurant.
* At least 1 year in a leadership position overseeing beverage in a cocktail bar environment.
* Experience in a hotel setting, including Duty Manager role (preferred).
* Valid personal license (preferred).
* Fully flexible in working shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Enthusiastic, task‑oriented, with pride for the work and strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated research of our brand and genuine desire to join the team.

Location
Manchester Airport – 7 Enterprise Way, Manchester, M90 4AD.
Transport options:
Train – 10 min walk from Manchester Airport station, frequent direct services from Manchester Piccadilly and across the North West.
Tram – Metrolink Blue Line (Victoria via Central Manchester) to airport main station (10 min walk).
Bus – Bee Network routes 43, 103, 130, 199, 248, 288, 313, 368. Most stop near the hotel, some at the main station.
Car – No on‑site parking; public transport recommended.

Additional Information
We will be opening our largest hotel – Dakota Manchester Airport – in early summer 2026, featuring our signature Bar & Grill and delivering the exceptional guest experience we are known for.
Contract: Permanent, 45 hours per week, fully flexible shifts including weekends. Works any 5 days out of 7.
