Job overview
We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual for a 12-month temporary role as a Medical Secretary within Child Health at Wansbeck General Hospital. The role involves providing secretarial support to Child Health Consultants and teams, based at Wansbeck but possibly requiring work at other sites within the Trust.

Main duties
* Provide secretarial support to Child Health Consultants and teams
* Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and communicate with GPs and patients
* Transcribe clinical and non-clinical documents (OCR 3 or equivalent qualification/experience)
* Support outpatient clinic capacity and patient journey management
* Assist in training and induction of new staff
* Manage resources, supplies, and equipment
* Supervise Band 2 staff work

Qualifications
* RSA 3/OCR or equivalent, or relevant typing/word processing experience
* ECDL / advanced ECDL
* GCSE English Language Grade C or above, or equivalent
