Overview

Operations Associate at Hargreaves Lansdown. Starting salary of £25,900 full-time (37.5 hours), permanent contract. This role sits in the Operations team, the main communication point with clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and high accuracy. Through the Service Progression Pathway you can advance within Financial Services.


What youll be doing

* Communicating with clients in various ways (letter, email, chat) depending on client preference.
* Providing a personalised service by listening to needs, resolving first time, and ensuring the right outcome for the client and HL.
* Adhering to relevant policies, controls, and regulatory rules.
* Knowing when to escalate issues or concerns.
* Identifying and supporting vulnerable clients.
* Supporting the teams risk and control activities to ensure good client outcomes and risk management culture.
* Collaborating with other teams within the business and with external companies.


About you

* Experience in financial services, customer services or administrative roles.
* High accuracy and service delivery capabilities.
* Experience dealing with internal or external clients.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
* Proactive and driven, takes ownership.
* Competent in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong desire to learn and understand processes or issues holistically.
* Adherence to regulatory requirements and concern for compliant operations.
* Ability to identify and implement measures for vulnerable clients.


Working setup

Location: Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. Hybrid working available after successful training and probation. In-office attendance 2-3 days a week recommended. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm (37.5 hours per week).
