A large UK-wide group of wholesale & distribution businesses are looking for an entrepreneurial and sales-driven Business Manager to join their growing operation. If you're from a strong B2B sales background and are an experienced General Manager, Business Manager or Branch Manager working within a wholesale environment, this could be an excellent career opportunity for you to run your own business with full autonomy.\n\n The group you'll be joining specialises in the distribution of a wide variety of electrical products, such as data cabling, HVAC, lighting, fire and security, test equipment and specialist technical products. Operating under a decentralised structure, managers are given the autonomy to make all-important business decisions, and their achievements are recognised with substantial financial rewards.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\nAs a Business Manager, you will be given the training, tools and knowledge to quickly take on a Business Management role within the group.
You'll work closely with existing Business Managers to familiarise yourself with the company, their products, processes and values. \n\nThis will prepare you for a Business Manager role where you will:\n\nBe responsible for the running of the entire business, including driving sales, full P&L, managing and mentoring employees, marketing, logistics and purchasing\nDevelop and maintain relationships with both new and existing B2B customers such as contractors, installers and industrial clients\nEnsure the achievement of set targets and objectives\nDrive sales growth by identifying opportunities to develop company performance and revenueRewards\n\nAs a Business Manager, you will receive:\n\nA competitive starting salary up to £60,000\nAn uncapped profit share bonus based on your performance\nHigh-spec company car\nOptional membership of the excellent company pension scheme\nThe opportunity to build a career with a large and successful nationwide groupRequirements\n\nExperience in a B2B wholesale or distribution environment\nExperience working with or selling enterprise infrastructure or technical products such as data cabling, networking, or server systems\nProven success in a General Manager, Business Manager, or Branch Manager role\nStrong commercial awareness and sales acumen\nExcellent leadership, communication and people management skills\nFull UK driving licence\nA hands-on and proactive approach with the ambition to grow and develop a businessThink you have what it takes?
