WeareseekingacommittedindividualtojoinusasaTechnicalLicensingOfficerwithintheSelectiveLicensingTeam.Youllplayakeyroleinsupportingtheimplementationandday-to-daymanagementoftheboroughsSelectiveLicensingscheme,whichgoesliveinJanuary2026.Thisisavitalroleensuringlandlordsandmanagingagentsmeettheirlegalobligationsandthatresidentsliveinsafe,well-managedhomes.
KeyResponsibilities
Applyhousingandlicensinglegislationtoassess,process,anddeterminelicenceapplicationsinlinewiththeHousingAct2004.
Usedigitalsystemsanddatatoolsconfidentlytomanagecases,maintainaccuraterecords,andproduceperformancereports.
Manageanactivecaseload,ensuringalltasksarecompletedwithinstatutoryandservicedeadlines.
Communicateeffectivelywithlandlords,tenants,andpartneragenciestoresolveissuesandpromotecompliance.
SupporttheimprovementofhousingstandardsacrossThurrockthroughadvice,inspection,andenforcementactivitywhererequired
