Front of House Receptionist

Our client, a top tier Chartered Accountancy firm providing financial and taxation advisory services to a portfolio of leading corporates and private clients, is looking for a highly professional, engaging, front of house Receptionist with the gravitas and organisation skills to manage a busy reception area and act as the ambassador for all front of house operations. With a prestigious client portfolio, they offer a bespoke service covering all areas of wealth management and taxation advice to private businesses, corporates along with HNWI and trusts. The Receptionist will be the 'face' and first impression for all visitors and clients representing this long established traditional business with a heritage in the heart of the City of London.
People are at the heart of what they do and the Receptionist will be responsible for interaction with clients and overseeing the highest standards of operation for Reception and front of house .
Overview of Responsibilities
* Support the Reception Manager with all aspects of front of house representation.
* Liaising with the Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth running of all office services.
* Co-ordinate the meeting rooms, working directly with the partners and their PAs to ensure all meetings are catered for at the highest of standard.
* Working with the PA's and Partners to manage events in-house.
* Answering and announcing incoming calls and directing as appropriate.
* Maintaining a daily list of all partners and staff out of the office
* Receiving visitors, making them welcome and comfortable, offering refreshments, informing hosts of their arrival.
* Managing bookings for all meeting rooms
* Liaising with the in-house private Chef for menus and lunch arrangements.
* Co-ordinating the room layout and provision of all necessary facilities
* Always maintaining the appearance of the reception area to the highest standard
* Arranging for couriers as requested by partners and staff, keeping a log of all orders placed
* Accepting deliveries from couriers and liaising, as appropriate, with the facilities manager or recipients over distribution.
The successful Receptionist will offer:-
* Solid Experience gained in a Reception capacity within a professional services firm.
* Excellent inter-personal skills to provide a warm professional, efficient, and friendly "front of house" reception service
* Ability to manage all calls and enquiries in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, engaging with their established clients.
* Proven experience in providing high levels of in-house customer service
* Demonstrate a sound knowledge of efficient IT working practices, including the use of switchboard software, Microsoft Outlook for email and meeting room calendar management, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for data input.
* Ability to deal with situations in a positive manner
