Start date: September 2026.
Your learning and development: You will spend your first six weeks with your fellow cohort in Roke’s bootcamp, then receive ongoing technical and soft‑skills training over two years, building a portfolio that will support your salary reviews and career aspirations.
Your projects: You’ll work on a variety of projects covering systems engineering, RF design, power‑supply design, FPGA design, embedded software, front‑end software, modelling, simulation, and more. You may also spend some weeks on bidding activities or running a small team.
Your application process: Roke’s hiring community will review your CV. If we feel you’re a great fit, you’ll be invited to an assessment centre, which includes team exercises, interviews, talks from senior leaders, and tours. Lunch and travel expenses are covered.

Applicants should demonstrate (some of):
* Signal Processing theory
* Embedded software development
* Wireless communications or radar system knowledge
* Designing with FPGAs
* Electromagnetics or antenna design
* Acoustics and audio signal processing
* Practical skills (soldering, hardware assembly, prototyping, etc.)
