An exciting and rare career opportunity has been opened as we seek a highly motivated individual to play a critical role within a new corporate project team being put together to deliver an action set out within the Council’s Corporate Plan for 2023 – 2027 to develop for all areas within Argyll and Bute Area Plans that will reflect investment opportunities and local service prioritisation.
Working within the Chief Executives Unit to an agreed project plan, this will be a demanding post that requires a range of skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, project planning and delivery, coordinating community engagement activities, and research and data analysis. Knowledge of Community Planning would be advantageous and not essential.
We are seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has the ability to work under pressure and possesses the energy, drive and commitment to delivering quality outputs on time.
Please note this is a fixed term project and the emplo yee will be required to commence employment by April 2024. The post is temporary for 23 months working 35 hours per week and location is negotiable. There will be periods when the successful candidate will be required to attend meetings on Council premises.
Working closely with the senior leadership of the organisation, this position offers an individual a terrific opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and experience that will be transferable to future career opportunities.
