The Integrated Solutions & Storage Project Engineer will work with the Sales Team & the Project Managers to prepare the solution and drawings, review the costs with the suppliers and handover the won projects to the Project management team. This role is crucial to increase our sales efficiency and conversion rate by preparing all required equipment designs (CAD drawings, quotations, price calculations). An extensive experience within the materials handling industry is key in order to provide the right support and expertise on design solutions. Whilst based from home, this role will require travels on request and presence in the office up to 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
* CAD drawings based on data collection
* Analysis and assessment of customer requests on (technical) feasibility and potential solutions
* Coordinate and structure data & information flow, necessary to offer the solution
* Support the Sales Manager during customer meetings and presentations on request
Additional Offerings
* We offer collaboration across all functions within the Intralogistics department on specific Projects in the UK & Ireland for STILL and Linde
* Price calculations including review and selection of suppliers for all business streams
* Development of quotation materials and training content for internal teams
* Support the Service team to review pricing for integrated solutions
Sales Documentation & Handover
* Prepare Sales presentations for internal and external customers
* Ensure the sales team has up-to-date sales tools and materials
* Work with 3rd party suppliers for specific demands within the UK market
* Handover: review projects when orders are placed and participate in lessons learned to improve service

Required Functional Competencies / Experience / Qualifications
* Experience within Storage Industry preferred
* Understanding of integrated offerings (ASRS, Shuttles ETC)
* Ability to analyse and solve complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
* Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities and timeframes simultaneously
* Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills
* Software skills in 2D/3D drawing
* Good communication skills
* Willingness to travel
* Being able to work autonomously
* IT Literate including intermediate PowerPoint, MS PowerPoint and Excel and Microsoft Project
* Full driving licence
