This is an exciting opportunity to join the Hartshorne Group team as a Graduate Trainee Truck Sales Executive, where you’ll gain hands‑on experience, industry knowledge, and all the coaching you need to become a successful commercial vehicle sales professional.
What you’ll be doing
In this trainee role, you will learn every aspect of the truck sales process, including:
* Supporting senior sales staff with quotations, product information and customer enquiries.
* Building relationships with new and existing customers.
* Developing a strong understanding of commercial vehicles, specifications, and customer needs.
* Visiting customers alongside experienced team members.
* Learning how to manage accounts, identify opportunities, negotiation to closing the sales process.
* Gaining exposure to the operational side of the business to understand how our products support customers
What we’re looking for?
* A degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
* Some work-based experience (e.g. customer-facing role, business support, or sales/marketing environment, Transport/Logistics).
* Genuine interest in developing a career in B2B sales.
* Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
* Commercially minded with the ability to learn quickly.
* Driven, ambitious, and eager to progress.
