Star of the Sea R.C. Primary School (previously St Mary's (Leith) R.C. Primary School) has an exciting opportunity for a Depute Head Teacher to join our leadership team. Our senior leadership team currently consists of the Head Teacher, one Depute Head Teacher (this vacancy), one Principal Teacher and a part-time Business Manager.
Star of the Sea is a denominational school in the Catholic Parish of St Mary, Star of the Sea, Leith. We currently have a role of pupils spread across 12 classes, with a nursery class which has a capacity of 28 pupils. Specialist teaching is provided in Support for Learning. Pupils are also well supported by the school's team of Pupil Support Assistants. The school has a Parent Council which makes an active contribution to the life of the school.
