A Lecturer in Child Education is needed to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning across Levels 1–3, supporting students to achieve academic and personal goals.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging learning programmes using a range of teaching strategies.
* Develop inclusive learning resources and assignments.
* Accurately assess, monitor and internally verify student work, and prepare samples for external moderation.
* Work within agreed curriculum frameworks and targets, contributing to curriculum development.
* Complete required administrative tasks and provide timely, accurate data and records.
* Act as a course manager and/or tutor.
* Deliver effective tutorial and pastoral support.
* Support student recruitment and marketing activities.
* Maintain high levels of retention achievement and behaviour.
* Visit students on vocational placements to assess competence.
* Accompany students on educational visits when required.
* Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of post.

Salary: Up to £38,300 per annum, pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
Hours: 30 hours per week.
