Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting accurate and timely payments across the organization. This role ensures compliance with company policies and internal controls while working closely with accounting, operations, and vendor partners to maintain accurate financial records and strong vendor relationships.
Essential Functions and Duties:
1. Provide Accounts Payable support processing invoices in the M3, Ottimate, and Paymerang systems within set timeframe.
2. Year end 1099 processing
3. Research discrepancies and follow up with compliance related issues.
4. Continuously look for ways to automate and streamline functions.
5. Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and relationship building skills
8. Must be able to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
9. Accounting experience preferred
10. Attention to detail
11. High-level accuracy, and technical proficiency
12. Microsoft Excel skillset required
13. Hospitality experience preferred
14. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role preferred
Work Environment:
15. This is a full-time, in-office role based at Stonebridge’s corporate headquarters
16. Work is performed in a professional office environment with frequent use of computers, accounting software, and digital systems
17. Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
18. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs may be required (e.g., files, boxes, office supplies)
19. Standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility during month-end close or high-volume periods
