We’re opening a new brand store in Portsmouth in June 2026 and are looking for a committed Store Manager to lead the retail team and bring the Henri-Lloyd experience to life in store.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving commercial performance. You will play a key role in representing the Henri-Lloyd brand, building strong customer relationships and inspiring your team to perform at their best. This role combines retail leadership, brand storytelling and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service
* Drive store sales and KPI performance and achieve commercial targets
* Ensure the store reflects the premium Henri-Lloyd brand standards
* Manage stock levels, visual merchandising and product presentation
* Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
* Oversee staff scheduling, training and development
* Analyse store performance and implement improvements where required
* Maintain operational excellence across the store
About you
We are looking for someone who brings both retail leadership and
a passion for the outdoors or sailing culture.
You will ideally have:
* Experience managing or supervising a retail team
* Strong commercial awareness and sales focus
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* An interest in sailing, marine environments or outdoor performance apparel
* (desirable but not essential)
