Doctors to work across specialties for work ranging from a single shift to an extended post, with evening, weekend and on‑call shifts available.
Responsibilities
* liaise between nurses, other clinicians, patients, relatives to support safe care
* attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds and other related daily activities
* provide appropriate workplace supervision to other staff as requested
* maintain high standards of professionalism, especially in relation to documentation
* arrive on time for the booked shift and be available from the arranged start time
* attend local induction when working in new areas
* comply with Trust policies, including the Trust's values and behaviours
* perform other duties commensurate with the post/grade as advised by the specialty clinical team
* work Bank shifts on an "as and when" basis with no guaranteed hours
Requirements
* qualified doctor with a current GMC registration
* ability to work a minimum of 12 shifts per month and be available for evening, weekend and on‑call shifts as needed
* must be a GMC approved designated body, or if already registered with an agency, maintain that status as designated body
* willingness to work on an "as and when" basis with no guaranteed hours
