Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Okehampton is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a difference in the lives of students with complex needs. Job Details: Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Pay: £100 - £200 per day (dependent on experience) About the School: Our partner school in Okehampton provides tailored education for students aged 5-19 with Autism, learning disabilities, communication challenges, and emotional/behavioural difficulties. The school focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and life skills through a holistic, child-centred approach to learning. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support in the classroom. Assist with individual learning plans and student development. Support life skills development, including communication and emotional regulation. Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive student engagement. Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students. Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure student's needs are met. What We’re Looking For: Passion for supporting SEN students.
