Nurse Manager
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
Location: Home based
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
As Nurse Manager at our client, you will be responsible for leading a team of Occupational Health Advisors, Nurses, and Technicians to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality clinical services to their clients across the UK. You will play a vital role in maintaining clinical excellence, supporting professional development, and ensuring that their service aligns with the highest standards of patient care, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Drawing on your clinical expertise and leadership experience, you will oversee day-to-day team management, support with recruitment and onboarding of new team members, and provide guidance on complex case management referrals. You'll also take the lead in clinical audits, help manage complaints and support their Associate Director of Nursing in shaping and developing their service they are offering.
Whether conducting virtual team meetings, supporting revalidation processes, or attending client implementation meetings, you'll play a key role in driving service improvement and championing best practice across the business. You will also act as a clinical ambassador for our client, promoting their Occupational Health services and helping them build long-term partnerships with their clients.

Main Objectives:
* Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct and to work according to qualification, experience, and competency.
* Responsible for the day-to-day personnel management of a team of allocated OHAs and Nurses and Technicians.
* Active participation and flexibility to support recruitment activity for all nursing teams.
* The delivery of the Occupational Health Service to their clients ensuring the provision of the occupational health advice is always of the highest standard.
* To act as an ambassador and promote the Occupational Health services available.
* To ensure clinical standards of best practice are followed, and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
* To fully utilise company IT systems in the performance of duties.
* Undertake clinical supervision/peer and team audit in relation to service delivery as identified.
* Undertaking investigation and response to queries and complaints arising from team activities.
* Taking on a clinical lead role as required.
Role Requirements:
* Trained to undertake all core Occupational Health clinical skills.
* Experienced skills and competency with case management activities undertaking complex referrals.
* Occupational Health Degree/Diploma and NMC registration is essential.
* Previous managerial and people management experience would be desirable.
* Demonstrable experience within Occupational Health departments, preferably private sector experience.
* Experience of participation in tender support meetings and presentations to potential clients would be beneficial.
