This hands-on production lead role combines craftsmanship with leadership. You’ll oversee the full production lifecycle – from interpreting technical drawings and CAD visuals, through prototyping and build, to final delivery and installation.

Job Role:
Work with sketches, CAD files, and 3D visuals to develop design briefs and workflows.
Collaborate with Designers and Project Managers to ensure designs are practical and buildable.
Fabricate high-quality retail display units, POS, and shop-fitting installations using materials such as MDF, hardwoods, laminates, acrylic, and occasionally metal or glass.
Assemble units with precision, delivering top-quality finishes.
Inspect finished work for accuracy and finish before dispatch or installation.
Advise on material choices and production methods to enhance efficiency and aesthetics.
Manage multiple projects, allocate resources, and meet tight production deadlines—especially during retail campaigns or seasonal rollouts.
Ensure a safe, tidy workspace and comply with health & safety regulations.
Support material, hardware, and labour quoting processes (e.g. for POS projects), including ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers/subcontractors.
Skills and Experience
Strong background in joinery (minimum 3 years preferred), especially in retail display or POS.
Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and translating them into accurate builds.
Excellent time-management, organisational, and leadership capabilities.
IT-savvy – with competence in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel).
Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
Flexible and proactive, with a “can-do” attitude and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
Clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
