The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a comparable role, preferably within a café, retail or restaurant environment; excellent customer service and communication skills
The role involves all aspects of daily food & beverage operations:
* Engaging customers and exceeding their needs.
* Taking orders and ringing up sales.
* Planning daily cleaning task.
* Managing and coaching your team to reach business goals and ensure a high quality of service
* Ensuring health & safety and food safety standards are met.
* Driving continuous improvement in café performance.
* Achieving goals and targets set by the centre manager.
* Sales and financial reporting
* The ideal candidate is:
* Passionate about food with good cooking skills.
* Experienced in Barista Machine service and training
* Able to develop customer relationships and drive sales.
* A great team leader, manager and motivator.
* An excellent communicator.
* Able to control costs and manage purchases.
* Organised and enjoys getting the details right.
* Familiar with best practices of H&S and food hygiene (HACCP).
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
