As a Modern Apprentice, you will:\nâ¢\tWork towards a SCQF Level 7 qualification in partnership with Carousel Training Centre and your Employer.\nâ¢\tAttend monthly training classes and receive regular support from an Assessor.\nâ¢\tGain the SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People).\nâ¢\tBuild the skills and knowledge to become a qualified Early Years Practitioner in just 12â15 months.\n\nKey Responsibilities:-\nâ¢\tWork with the staff team to create a safe, positive environment for children.\nâ¢\tBe a valued member of a team.\nâ¢\tSupport staff in delivering fun, active, and educational activities.\nâ¢\tGain hands-on experience with children from babies to pre-school age.\nâ¢\tLearn how children develop through creative play and activities.\nâ¢\tSupport with personal care tasks (toileting, dressing, feeding).\nâ¢\tEngage with parents/carers to support each childâs learning journey.\nâ¢\tHelp with nursery routines, including snack preparation and cleaning equipment.\nâ¢\tFollowing nursery safeguarding procedures to ensure all children are safe and secure. What Weâre Looking For:-\nâ¢\tEnthusiastic and confident individuals who want to work in a Nursery or Out of School Care setting.\nâ¢\tGood communication skills and a genuine desire to support the development of young children.\nâ¢\tThe ability to engage and interact enthusiastically with children.\n\nNo previous experience is required â just passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn.\n
