Position: Machine Shop Manager
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £55,000 per annum, based on a 45‑hour working week.
Job Overview
* Allocating jobs in the workshop to the team of manual & CNC machinists.
* Overseeing quality controls of parts.
* Providing the machinists with technical advice and support with programming.
* Assisting with project management, estimating and the purchasing of materials.
* Producing progress reports on jobs.
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
* Proven background within production management.
* Good understanding / experience with CNC Programming, setting & operating.
* Experience with CAD/CAM software is desirable.
* Understanding of quality assurance processes.
* Good planning & scheduling skills.
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £55,000 per annum.
* Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00 (45‑hour working week).
