Unit Function: To develop the intellectual edge for success on operations and leadership in government, with our allies and coalitions in an era of persistent engagement. Position Role: Delivery and coordination of staff inputs and outputs relating to J1 to J9 with a focus on Estates, Health & Safety and Fire at a Stn HQ level on behalf of Stn CO / Head of Establishment. Lead on J3 Ops and J5 Plans. Deputise in the absence of Stn CO and function as the Stn 2ic. Responsibilities: Responsible for the J1 to J9 inputs and outputs from Stn HQ to DefAc UK HQ, JFD HQ and CSOC Principal Staff Officer to Stn CO / Head of Establishment delivering J3 Ops / J5 Plans for Stn HQ Functional lead on Health/Safety, Estates delivery, and Fire risk management chairing working groups Principal Liaison Officer to all DefAc UK Colleges, Groups and lodger units Deputising for Stn CO / Head of Establishment as required with DefAc UK HQ /TLB and HLB Function as a Project Manager on Stn HQ and delegated DefAc UK HQ initiatives working closely with Hard and soft FM providers Stn lead for PAPMIS management, manage the Stn Resilience / Continuity Plan on behalf of the Stn CO Further specific responsibilities as directed by Stn CO.
