A well-established manufacturing business based in High Wycombe is looking to recruit a Stores Operative to support its production and materials team.
This is a key role within a regulated manufacturing environment, responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, control and issue of materials and components. The position plays a vital part in ensuring quality, traceability and on-time delivery to production.
The Role
As a Stores Operative, you will support manufacturing operations by managing material flow, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring full compliance with quality and safety standards.
You will work closely with production, quality and planning teams to ensure materials are available and correctly controlled at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Stores & Line Support
1. Receive, inspect and book in raw materials, components and consumables
2. Verify quantities, part numbers, revision levels and supporting documentation
3. Prepare and issue production kits in line with build schedules
4. Return unused materials to stores, maintaining full traceability
