We’re looking for an MEP Planner to join our Southern Region team. Location: Basingstoke or Southampton office and sites across the Southern Region. Hours: 42.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining detailed MEP programmes using Asta PowerProject, aligned with construction master programmes.
* Monitoring progress on site, updating programmes, and generating lookahead schedules and progress reports.
* Presenting programme updates and planning insights to project managers and senior leadership.
* Collaborating with design managers, commercial teams, and construction planners to resolve sequencing and logistics issues.
* Supporting risk identification and recovery planning through programme analysis.
Qualifications
* Intermediate or advanced experience using Elecosoft Asta PowerProject and can create fully logic‑linked MEP programmes.
* 4–6 years’ on‑site experience as an MEP planner, or transition from being a Site Manager or Engineer.
* 3–5 years' experience in tender and preconstruction planning.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach to challenges.
