Pertemps is working with a key client based in the Renfrewshire area who is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their growing team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to join a friendly and supportive team. The role will keep you engaged with a variety of daily tasks, and training will be provided to help you excel in your role.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £24,968 per annum. The client works fully in their offices from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Parking is available on-site, and the location is easily accessible by public transport. The role involves speaking with key clients, contractors, and various employees daily, so strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand the varied processes for Service clients accounting.
2. Develop knowledge of clients and contracts.
3. Maintain regular, effective communication with engineers to control work to completion within client SLA.
4. Requisition and raise sub-contractor orders.
5. Identify outstanding purchase orders and unissued parts to ensure controls are in place.
6. Manage the engineering pool and assist with holiday leave.
7. Complete progress/status update reports for clients or client systems.
8. Administer control of engineers' day sheets, timesheets, expenses, and non-productive elements.
9. Manage Extra to Contract Works in line with contractual requirements.
10. Record legislative documentation to meet client and company standards.
11. Upload documents and certification using the internal system.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in an administrative role requiring high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience liaising with contractors, tradespeople, or engineers is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
* Experience in a varied role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A motivated team player with a positive attitude.
