Roles and Responsibilities:
The Estimator reporting to the Senior Estimator shall have the responsibility and authority for the production of estimates of all assigned tenders to QTS and shall, at a minimum:-
1. Manage and lead allocated tenders
2. Mentor more junior team members
3. Manage individual tender portfolio to ensure estimates are produced within the required timescales.
4. Review Tenders /Client information
5. Attend site meetings as required
6. Produce take-off and collate quotes for materials and from sub-contractors.
7. Liaise with Operational team to develop methodology.
8. Develop cost estimate for individual scheme.
9. Ensure all tender returns meet the clients requirements.
10. Ensure that all estimates produced have been reviewed and checked
11. Assist with reviewing awarded contracts commercial performance against forecasted at estimating stage.
12. Ensure the company is fully aware of the risk and opportunities involved in each tender.
