Our client, a significant player in the defence and security industry, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Actuation Systems Centre of Excellence. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of developing advanced actuation technologies for next-generation defence systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to develop electro-mechanical actuation systems across the product lifecycle, from initial concept to qualification.
Collaborate with missile-level engineers to ensure the actuation system meets all related requirements.
Understand the functional architecture and relevant requirements for electronics, mechanical, and software domains.
Provide closed-loop control of fins to steer missiles during flight.
Potentially take on a support or lead Systems Engineer role based on your experience.
Job Requirements:
Experience in modern Systems Engineering methods and tools.
Experience in specifying, reviewing, and managing requirements.
Willingness to enhance skills in emerging Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering concepts.
Strong teamwork skills to effectively collaborate within a dynamic team.
Experience in IBM DOORS and Model Based Systems Engineering is beneficial.
Beneficial experience in safety-related systems or actuation systems.
Beneficial experience across different phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle.
Degree qualified in a relevant field with proven post-graduation experience.
