Contract: Long-Term, Full Time / Part Time

A well-established SEN school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join their team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for practitioners who have completed their competency framework and are confident supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Role Overview: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
1. Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to pupils with SEN
2. Assess, plan and implement individual therapy programmes
3. Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, adapting interventions where necessary
4. Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams
5. Provide advice and training to staff to support communication development
6. Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive school environment
Person Specification: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
7. Fully qualified and completed competency framework
8. Previous experience working in UK schools or SEN settings
9. Confident in assessment, planning and intervention for complex communication needs
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff
12. Flexible, professional and committed to improving outcomes for pupils
