Are you a passionate and dedicated LSA looking to make a real difference? Our welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Romford is seeking a committed LSA to join our supportive SEN team and transform lives every day.
As an LSA, you will provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs, ensuring they can access learning in a safe and nurturing environment. You will act as a Key Worker for a designated pupil, building a strong, positive relationship with both the child and their family.
In this LSA role, you will work closely within our SEN provision to deliver personalised strategies and structured support. The successful LSA will deliver tailored 1:1 interventions, track progress, and work as a proactive Key Worker to champion pupil wellbeing and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
2. Provide consistent 1:1 academic and emotional support
3. Fulfil the responsibilities of a Key Worker, including communication with parents and external professionals
4. Collaborate with the SENCO and wider SEN team to implement EHCP targets
5. Maintain accurate records as a Key Worker and contribute to review meetings
6. Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis in a school setting
7. Confidence in acting as a Key Worker and advocating for pupil needs
