About the Role
We are working on behalf of a brilliant special school that supports students with ASD, aged 6-16. They are seeking a full-time teacher to start either after May half term or from September. The school is situated on beautiful grounds and has experienced consistent growth over recent years.
The school prides itself on providing individualized support for ASD students across all age groups.
The Position
This vacancy is in a wonderful Year 5 class, where you will lead a class of 8 students. You will follow the Primary teaching model, with responsibilities including planning and marking your own lessons, with adequate PPA time allocated.
You will be supported by two full-time Teaching Assistants who are familiar with the students, having worked there throughout the term. Candidates must have experience working with ASD students. While QTS is preferred, applications from strong unqualified teachers will also be considered.
