Urgent Hiring! Disability Assessor - Slough
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends, no nights, no bank holidays, and no long shifts.
Disability Assessor (PIP / WCA)
Hybrid: 1/2 days in office, remainder from home.
Salary
* PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £45,300 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
* WCA Assessor (5‑6 shorter assessments per day): £48,000 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
* Up to 10% quality and performance bonus
* Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.
Hours
* Full‑time (WCA/PIP): Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
* Part‑time (WCA Only): 0.6 FTE (3 days) or 0.8 FTE (4 days). PT must work Friday and can choose the remaining days.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face‑to‑face).
* Review medical evidence and daily living impact.
* Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
* Make objective recommendations based on evidence.
* This is an assessment‑focused role – no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
* 12‑week paid training covering:
o Assessment techniques
o DWP guidelines
o Report writing
o Full support before working independently.
Who We’re Looking For
* Registered Adult Nurses (NMC)
* Occupational Therapists (HCPC)
* Physiotherapists (HCPC)
* Paramedics (HCPC) – PIP only
* Pharmacists (GPhC) – PIP only
Qualifications
* Minimum 1‑year post‑registration experience in an adult setting.
* At least 1‑year active registration.
* Strong communication and report writing skills.
* Confident IT and typing skills.
* Sponsorship is not available.
